No, he’s really frail. There are only 2 OU Fire types and Heatran is a legendary so Infernape is obviously the beat nonlengend fire type.
It will not lose to anyone when it comes to speed. Blaze Kick presents a physical Fire option that may be used over Flare Blitz.
Search titles only Posted by Member: On its community day you will catch about Chimchars. By the time Typhy uses Sunny day, It will be on the floor with it’s flames out. Not THE best, but close. And lots qwesome them are perfectly viable and perfectly fun to play.
However, even if Blaze won’t see as much action as one would hope it is still a reasonable trait. Instead of always having to pick the absolute ideal counter. They are all good. Yeah, its definitely one of the better ones. I would consider him to be the best non-legendary starter. Slack Off is a rather nice recovery move but if Infernape somehow obtains the luxury of a free turn aeesome should awesoms using the turn to prepare for a sweep rather than wasting it on recovery.
Its mostly a matter of aawesome mixing and matching to suit your current team. Let’s see a Charizard ever dream of getting speed at level CP is and will be a great Infernape. Life Orb damage combined with other passive damage sources Sandstorm, Spikes, Stealth Rock can sap Infernape’s HP pretty quickly, allowing Infernape to activate Blaze somewhat easily for a last ditch boost to its Fire attacks.
Since Infernape can’t take a hit: Lugia is the King of Legendaries in my opinion. May 30, 3.
I am lacking in Fire Dept. BasiltheDragonMay 30, So regardless of the battle system, a lot of people probably have fun using something like an Infernape or Blaziken instead of the monotony of endless Machamp. Helping Hand is a decent move for 2v2 play but Infernape is too fragile to reliably support its partner. And there is also its resistance to ice it has over Charizard, so it can effectively counter those better while not beign a glass cannon like blaziken.
What does that mean? MitziFreakMay 30, Infernape is the best fire type starter, hell yeah, best stats, movepool, and typing. But even when Focus Sash activates taking the hit for Infernape it’s still exposed to Sandstorm, which can pick it off after Focus Sash saves it. Whilst several of those are somewhat frequently used they aren’t as common as its weaknesses and with such poor defences it’ll still have trouble handling those as well.
Blaziken is okay and Typhlosion is pretty good in its own way. Probably not its best option but worth a mention. I’d say Infernape is a good fire pokemon.
